Child Care Subsidy

Your family may be eligible for federal government fee assistance in the form of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). CCS is means tested and paid directly to the service, families will only pay the ‘gap’. If intending to claim the CCS for the first time log in to MyGov and apply for CCS through Centrelink. Click here for information on how to make a claim. CCS is administered through MyGov –you are required to establish a MyGov account.

Families who’ve received CCS with another childcare provider do not need a new claim, simply include the following information in your NNOOSH enrolment:

  • Customer Reference Numbers (CRN) for each child and the registered parent/guardian

  • Correct date of birth for each child and the registered parent/guardian

NNOOSH will send your enrolment information through to centrelink for confirmation once your permanent bookings or casual use has been confirmed the service (you have accepted and confirmed any offers). YOU MUST log in to MyGov and CONFIRM YOUR CHILD’S ENROLMENT or CCS will not be paid. Click here for a guide.

This arrangement is between families and Centrelink, as a matter of privacy. Questions about eligibility or issues with your CCS should be directed to Centrelink. Your income tax return status may affect your eligibility. Families who are not receiving the CCS should check their eligibility here.

Full fees will be charged until the required information for a CCS registration is provided. While NNOOSH will attempt to back-date the CCS where possible, government restrictions may not allow this.

Payment of Fees

  • Accounts are billed weekly by Debit Success, and you will receive a statement by email (please ensure your email contact is up to date).

  • From Term 2 2022 all accounts must be paid by Direct Debit.

    • Upon enrolment you must provide your direct debit details and enter into the direct debit agreement with Debit Success (please take note of variations in processing fees for credit cards vs bank account). This is all integrated into the enrolment form accessed via Xplor. Setting up Direct Debit

    • Existing Families - please sign up for direct debit through the Xplor App. Setting up Direct Debit

    • NOTE: 95C PER TRANSACTION IF USING DIRECT DEBIT FROM A SAVINGS ACCOUNT OR 2.47% OF THE TOTAL

For payment/debit success queries. Please do not contact the service as you will need to contact Debit Success.

It is the responsibility of account holders to check the accuracy of their statement, and inform the service if CCS entitlements do not appear on your statement. There are numerous reasons why the CCS payment may drop-off, and payments automatically cease if a child does not attend for a period of time. You will need to keep the service informed of any drop off of CCS as we may need to resubmit your enrolment data to Centrelink.

If utilising “Happy Hour” (HH) please check your statement each fortnight to ensure correct fees apply. HH fees are a unique quality of NNOOSH and therefore are not supported by our childcare management software. It involves manually adjusting fees and therefore the occasional mistake may happen. To ensure we can continue to offer the lower HH rate, please check your statement as HH charges may not be backdated.

Policies and Procedures to Read Before Enrolment

Regulation 91 requires the service to provide the Medical Conditions Policy to be provided to parents/carers.

NNOOSH Requires New Enrolments to:

  1. Read the following Medical Policies and aligning Procedures:

  2. Contact the centre for a ‘Risk Minimisation and Communication Form’ (if necessary) and provide a Medication Action Plan to the centre (if necessary).

  3. Follow the steps set by Regulation 92 for filling out a Medication Record and Regulation 95 (a.i-ii.) for supplying prescribed medication.

  4. It is noted, that some Asthma Action Plans, do not have an expiry/review date. ECECD has advised us that best practice is for the centre to contact parents prior to one year after the date on the plan, to advise an update from the child’s doctor.
